Scenes applies a zero tolerance policy to sexual crimes targeting children and adolescents.

Scenes believes that protecting children and adolescents from harmful online environments is one of our most important responsibilities. Accordingly, we apply a zero tolerance policy—with no exceptions—to sexual crimes targeting children and adolescents, or any conduct that facilitates such crimes.

A single violation of the relevant operating policy will result in immediate and permanent account suspension, restriction from the Service, and, where necessary, a report to law enforcement—regardless of whether it is a first offense.

Scenes accepts reports 24 hours a day, 365 days a year through the in-Service "Report" feature and takes prompt, thorough action upon receipt. Reporter anonymity is strictly protected.

1. Acts Related to Child Sexual Exploitation Material (CSEM)

  • Producing, distributing, selling, sharing, or possessing such material, or attempting or expressing intent to do so

  • This includes not only real children and adolescents, but also characters or images that can be clearly recognized as children or adolescents (e.g., illustrated depictions)

  • Sending such material via email, messenger, or in-Service features may result in sanctions and criminal prosecution based solely on the recipient's report

2. Possession and Use of CSEM

  • Possessing or using child or adolescent pornographic material while aware of its nature

  • Storing such material in online storage services may also be punishable under the Act on the Protection of Children and Adolescents against Sexual Abuse

3. Facilitation and Brokering of Production

  • Assisting in the use of children or adolescents for the production of CSEM (including all forms of providing information, monetary transactions, introductions, and brokering)

4. Sexual Solicitation and Facilitation

  • Providing or expressing intent to provide pornographic material or CSEM to children or adolescents

  • Buying, selling, facilitating, or brokering sexual acts involving children or adolescents

5. Sexual Abuse and Grooming

  • Planning or depicting sexual crimes against children or adolescents in a manner that stimulates sexual desire

  • Grooming: using trust and intimacy to induce or coerce children or adolescents into sexual acts (including sexual conversation, meeting requests, and requests to send photos or videos)

6. Sexual Objectification of Children and Adolescents

  • Depicting children or adolescents as sexual objects, or distorting or compositing them into pornographic material through posts, comments, or other means

7. Other Facilitation

  • All acts that facilitate sexual crimes against children and adolescents, including providing locations for crimes, luring, soliciting, and sharing information related to sexual services

If you encounter material depicting sexual abuse of children or adolescents online, please report it immediately through the in-Service report feature or the relevant authorities. Scenes is committed to working with you to create a safe and healthy communication environment.
