Once you've found a scene you like, you can start chatting right away.

• Home — type directly into "Type a message" on a scene you're swiping through

• Discover — pick a scene you like and start

• Create Scene — when you make a new scene, the character greets you first

• Top — character name and profile

• Center — conversation

• Bottom — "Type a message" box and function buttons

Messages within a scene are all saved, so you can pick up where you left off next time. To revisit past scenes, try the Timeline.

Type into the "Type a message" box at the bottom, send it, and AI generates a reply.

3. The character's reply arrives

Scenes offers several AI models. Each one differs in response depth and cost.

You can change the model anytime in chat room settings.

If a message fails to send for some unknown reason, the hearts you spent are automatically refunded. If no reply comes through, don't worry — just try again.

If the character's reply isn't what you wanted, you can regenerate it for the same message.

• When the reply takes the story in a different direction

• When the reply is too short or awkward

• When you want to see a different phrasing

1. Tap the [Menu] button next to the character's last reply

2. Tap [Reroll]

3. A new reply is generated

4. Repeat until you're happy

Price — same as the current model's price per reroll

If the new reply still isn't what you wanted, you can go back to the previous one.

Let the character move the story one turn forward without you typing anything.

• When you're not sure what to say

• When you want the character to take the lead

• When you just want to watch the story unfold

1. Leave the message field empty

2. Tap the [Auto Progress] button that appears to the right of the input field

3. The character advances the scene without your reply

4. Resume typing whenever you want

A place that gathers every scene you've shared with a character, in chronological order.

Tap the [Timeline] button at the bottom right of a chat room.

• Go back to a past scene

• Keep chatting from an old scene

• See your full story with this character at a glance

You can continue sending messages in old scenes, but most users use Timeline as a way to revisit scenes at a glance. It feels like a movie collection.

Your role inside a chat — who you become when you step into a scene.

Think of it as character = the other side, persona = you.

1. Go to the My tab at the bottom

2. Open the Persona tab

3. Tap Create

4. Enter name, gender, age, traits, etc.

Price — Free

Pick a persona inside a chat room, and that persona is who you'll be for the rest of that scene.

Even with the same character, different scenes may call for different personas. For example, with Alex Morgan you might be "a junior in the same major" in a campus scene, but "a neighbor from the same village" in a period piece.
